Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Says He’ll ‘Never Run Again’ After ‘Looking Wild’ in 60-meter Run at US Track and Field Event

Miami Dolphins sprinter Tyreek Hill ran 6.70 seconds in the 60-meter dash at the USA Track and Field Masters Indoor Championships on Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky.

The wide receiver dominated the race, but the weather classifies Hill, who competed in the 25-29 age group, outside the top 200 men in the world this year at the event.

“Never running again made me look wild”, tweeted the seven-time Pro Bowl selection right after your presentation.

Earlier this week, Hill posted a video on social media of himself practicing a block start on a University of Miami track, with the caption: “It felt good to put the studs back in!!!”

Hill, 29, a world-class sprinter in high school, was running his first meet since 2014, when he ran a 6.64 in the 60-meter dash. Hill, nicknamed “Cheetah” because he is widely considered the fastest player in the NFL, qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials.

He and teammate Jaylen Waddle formed one of the fastest receiver duos in the NFL.

“Having two guys like that with that kind of talent and that kind of speed puts a lot of stress on the defense,” Dolphins wide receivers coach Wes Welker said earlier this season. “Their speed really changed my perspective on the receiver position. … Not only do they have speed, they are dogs. They are difficult. It’s very rare to find guys so fast, so explosive, but not on the track.”

After all, it looks like Hill won’t be a track guy.
