58-year-old Mountain View woman dies in pedestrian crash

A woman died Saturday after being hit in a hit-and-run accident two days earlier in Mountain View.

The 58-year-old Mountain View woman was hit by a late-2000s Nissan sedan shortly after 6:00 am Thursday on El Camino Real between Clark and Escuela avenues, according to the Mountain View Police Department. The woman was taken to a hospital and died two days later.

His name was not released as investigators are still trying to confirm his identity.

The Nissan driver got away and Mountain View Police have yet to make any arrests. Investigators are asking for help locating that Nissan, which has damage to the passenger side.
