The coroner identified the victim as Fred William Burnett Senior, 90, of Moore.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Burnett was trying to turn onto East Main Street from a private driveway when he was hit by a vehicle.
Officers said Burnett was pronounced dead at the scene.
