One man died and four others were injured – including two children – after a shooting and an accident in Baltimore. Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said officers received a ShotSpotter alert for multiple shots fired around 6:39 pm near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurens Street in the city’s Upton neighborhood. Harrison said a man in the street was shot and died at a hospital. Harrison said another man standing in the street was shot and is in stable condition. A woman in a car was seriously injured by a gunshot. She drove down the street and hit a pole. Two children were in the car – a 6-year-old boy who suffered serious injuries in the accident and a 2-year-old boy who was shot and is in critical but stable condition.
