In the last episode of the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast, host savannah chrisley reported on how he has been doing since the parents Todd Y July reported in prison on January 17.

He chrisley knows best stars, convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in June, are fulfilling a 19 years combined behind bars: 12 years for Todd at the Pensacola Federal Correctional Institution in Florida, and seven for Julie at Lexington Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

“Last week was an extremely difficult week for my family as a whole and for each of us individually,” Savannah said on top of the show. “We had to say goodbye to my parents for a while, you know, for a while, for the foreseeable future, and that was very, very, very difficult, and I haven’t filmed a podcast since. The podcast that’s airing today, which you’re watching, it was filmed before my life fell apart.”

He explained that the episode, which was recorded on January 12, Julie’s birthday, did not reflect the tumult that is taking place in his personal life now.

“It can seem carefree and, during that time, I think it’s because there was a lot of hope,” he said. “And I didn’t face the reality of the situation. So I just wanted to get this in there, address that, because I know a lot of people are going to say, ‘Wow, what is this?’ and this was a little bit before life fell apart. And, now, the podcasts I do in the future will be published.”

Savannah said that the next episode will be a check on other family members.

“Next week, I’m having a very intense one-on-one podcast with myself giving an update on where my life is, how things are, how the kids are, Nanny, all of the above, so…and give an update on my parents,” he said. “Because you guys don’t have one yet, and I’m really looking forward to giving that update because I’ve seen God work in the craziest of circumstances.”

He also expressed his gratitude for those who stand by the reality TV family.

“Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting me, my family and unlocked,” said Savannah, who took custody of brother Grayson, 16, and his niece, Chloe, who is 10 and was being raised by Todd and Julie.

Meanwhile, the couple have maintained their innocence and their lawyer has said they plan to appeal.
