During her monologue, Plaza told the audience that she was from Deleware and was “actually voted the most famous person” from that state, beating out President Joe Biden.
“That’s a fact and he was angry, he was furious,” he said.
Plaza said Biden sent him a video saying, “Aubrey, you’re the most famous person in Deleware and there’s no question about it. We are grateful that you have left white lotus live.”
The actress then recalled being a page on 30 Rock during her college years, saying, “I worked with the set design team here at snl – the guys who do all these amazing sets for the show – and I have to tell you, they win Emmys, Tony Awards, they are some of the sickest perverts I have ever met, and I am a weirdo.”
Plaza recalled that as a page he would also give tours of NBC Studios and proceeded to give a tour of Studio 8H. Two pages came up on stage and gave Plaza his blazer, telling them that “they will present snl someday” and then added: “Yeah, sure.”
While giving the studio tour, Plaza misrepresented the facilities, saying the studio was built in 1599 by William Shakespeare. At one point he ran into Kenan Thompson, who asked him about his Starbucks order that he asked for in 2004.
Plaza then taunted tourists asking if they would see a celebrity during the tour and on his way to the set department, he ran into her. Parks and Recreation co-star Amy Poehler. The public went crazy and both stars hugged each other.
