Singer Billie Eilish is seeking a restraining order against a man she says tried to break into her family’s home in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, the man, Christopher Anderson, 39, tried to get into the Highland Park home by jumping over a fence and was later apprehended.

The singer also alleged in the order (via TMZ) that Anderson attempted to visit his family home multiple times in December, and local police filed multiple reports.

The court documents ask for protection for the singer, her brother Finneas, 25, and their parents, actress and teacher Maggie Baird and actor Patrick O’Connell.

Billie’s father revealed that Anderson visited their house many times since the end of December.

Anderson often professed his love for the singer in hopes of meeting her face to face.

The singer claimed that these incidents caused her “substantial anxiety, fear and emotional distress”, so much so that she no longer feels safe visiting her parents’ home.

Police were called to the Highland Park home of Eilish’s parents on January 5 at around 9:15 a.m., responding to a call that someone was trying to scale the fence to get onto the property.

The masked intruder was reportedly wearing all black and was seen loitering in the backyard.

The property’s home caretaker, who was not there during the search, received an alert showing the man, prompting the caretaker to call police.

The suspect was detained a block from the home in a sweep of the area.

The authorities believed that nothing was taken from the house, which is owned by the singer’s entire family.

Eilish recently opened in a Fashion interview, in which she appeared alongside a selection of climate activists as she detailed her relationship with the planet and with herself. Eilish talked about her relationship with her body.
