On Monday’s episode of “The Tonight Show,” Aubrey Square revealed to “Saturday night livealum jimmy fallon who once auditioned to join the legendary sketch show, which he will now host this weekend.

“I didn’t make it to the Lorne [Michaels] audition,” Plaza said, referring to the notoriously rare final test that the candidates have the creator of the program. “But I did a preliminary first-round showing.”

The “White Lotus” star said that during her audition, she played two rather fashionable and delightfully weird characters.

“One character I did was a Puerto Rican news reporter who was always trying to make all the news sexy, even if it was horrible,” he recalled. “He was just trying to sex the news or something.”

His second was even stranger.

“I was a housewife who took pills and had my own talk show called ‘Celebri-Tails,’ where I would just name celebrities and name what kind of tail they would have if they had tails,” Plaza said. “As she would say, ‘Lindsay Lohan would have a furry squirrel tail.’ Or, like, ‘Bill Clinton would have the bump of a polar bear.’

Plaza is no stranger to Studio 8H. He also told Fallon that he interned in the design department, whose job he “didn’t care about… at all.”
