The mother of one of jeffrey dahmerthe victims are angry Evan Peters won a Golden Globe for playing the serial killer on Netflix…she says she should have paid tribute to the victims.

shirleyDahmer’s victim’s mother tony hughes, tells TMZ … Evan should have used his acceptance speech to mention the families still suffering from Dahmer’s crimes, or to say that Hollywood should stop telling stories about murderers and glorify them.

Evan won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology for his work playing Jeffrey Dahmer in the Netflix miniseries “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”… and in his acceptance speech he told the audience that I was expecting something. Well, I would come out of his victory, and of the series.

Shirley scoffed… saying nothing good will come of Evan’s award for the Netflix series. She says that she only adds to the pain of the families of the people Dahmer killed, repeating the tragedy over and over again.

Tony’s mom also had this to say about Evan’s big night… “There are a lot of sick people all over the world, and people who win roles playing murderers keep the obsession going and it makes sick people thrive on fame.” .

Also in his speech, Evan mentioned how difficult it was to do the Dahmer series…but Shirley wonders why she accepted the role in the first place. She says that he shouldn’t have played the role out of respect for the families still living with their hearts broken by the loss of their loved ones.
